After more than 20 years in the real estate industry, particularly in the fascinating spectrum of land lease / manufactured home park living, and caravan parks, starting Parks and Communities feels like the culmination of a natural and inspiring journey.
My career in real estate has evolved from advisory and valuation of major development projects to a multinational real estate company specialising in the land lease living and caravan / holiday park markets, where I developed a deep understanding of their unique dynamics and complexities. Over time, I grew passionate about helping people navigate these vibrant markets—whether they were looking to buy, sell, or simply better understand their options.
In 2024, my family and I embarked on a life-changing adventure, traveling across Australia and staying in more than 100 caravan parks. This incredible experience gave us a close-up view of the growing popularity of caravan parks and the increasing demand for manufactured homes as a lifestyle choice. These months on the road reinforced what I had long believed: that there is a need for a dedicated real estate and advisory service tailored to the unique opportunities in these markets.
Returning home in October 2024, I set out to fill that gap. And thus, Parks and Communities was born.
